The management team at Al Meezan is composed of dedicated and experienced professionals. The team develops and implements the strategic business plans for the Company in line with its vision and mission and efficiently manages the day-to-day operational functions.
Salman Muslim is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) with over sixteen years of experience in Audit, Regulatory Compliance, Corporate Secretariat, Finance and Risk Management. He is the Head of Fund Accounting and Company Secretary at Al Meezan Investment Management Limited. He also serves as a member on the Ethics and AML Committee and Technical Committee of Mutual Fund Association of Pakistan (MUFAP). Earlier he served as the Head of Internal Audit from January 2018 to September 2021 at Al Meezan and left that office pursuant to job rotation program. Prior to Al Meezan, he has worked with OLP Modaraba (previously a Standard Chartered Group entity now acquired by ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited) as Head of Internal Audit, reporting to the Board Audit Committee. He had also been involved in the functional audits of SCB Pakistan being part of GIA-SCB from 2012 to 2016.
Further, he has also been associated with A. F. Ferguson & Co. a member firm of PWC Network in Pakistan and attended MDP course from LUMS. He is also a certified director under DTP from ICAP as well as a member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants and a graduate from University of Karachi.
