Meezan Islamic Fund is an open-end Shariah Compliant equity scheme. The Fund invests only in those listed companies that have been approved by our Shariah Advisor as Shariah compliant.
Investment Objective & Philosophy
The Fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation in a Shariah compliant manner. Emphasis is on contribution towards growth, both through appreciation and dividend income.
The investment strategy of the scheme is to identify and invest in businesses which have foreseeable growth prospects. The investment team also monitors change in management (of these businesses) and key strategic decisions of management which could positively or negatively affect growth over the next 3-5 years.
